JAMES SUNDERLAND - The main character. James has been spending that past three years in mourning over the death of his
wife, Mary. They spent many special memories in Silent Hill and one day, James receives a letter beckoning him back. The letter
is from Mary - in her handwriting - reminding him that he promised he'd take her back there again and she is now waiting for
him in their "special place." Determined to find out what's going on, James sets off for Silent Hill.
MARY SHEPARD-SUNDERLAND - James' late wife. She was infactuated with Silent Hill, struggling with the disease that was killing
her. She begged James to take her back there some day before she died...but he never did. Now she's alone there...waiting
for him.
MARIA - She could be Mary's twin, except for hair and clothes. She is flirty and sensual, and immediately takes a liking
to James. He agrees to let her tag along in his adventure, but it seems she may have a secret or two herself...
LAURA - Eight years of the ultimate brat. She treats the deserted town as her personal play ground, taunting
James and anyone else she encounters. Although a nuisance, Laura holds answers that James may be looking for...
EDDIE DOMBROWSKI - Eddie is running from someone or something - could it be himself? He comes across and stupid and harmless,
but looks can be deceiving as once again Silent Hill reveals his dark past...
